The Pilgrim Pope – St. John Paul II

November 11, 2024

Yesterday was the 19th anniversary of the death of Pope St. John Paul II.

He is truly an inspiring figure for us at Apostollo.

St. John Paul II was called “The Pilgrim Pope” as he made ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป ๐—œ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜† and ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฐ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ป ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฝ๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿต ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€, more than all previous popes combined.

Traveling to deepen my relationship with God has been my regular activity for the past two years.

From Rome ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น and Meฤ‘ugorje ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฆ to Luxembourg ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ, Granada ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ, Vienna ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น, and Bratislava ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฐ. And to several more cities and countries.

They weren’t pilgrimages (except for Meฤ‘ugorje). They were “regular” trips but improved with spiritual activities and a different mindset.

A mindset that looked at each place as a pilgrim site.

And from that came Apostollo, a Christian travel platform that helps people connect with God during their adventures.

Whether in Rome, Jerusalem, Berlin, London, New York, Oslo, etc., a person can have a spiritual experience.

(Yes, in Berlin, too, and a healthy spiritual experience, for that matter ๐Ÿ™‚).

And that experience will enrich their adventure massively.

Just like “The Pilgrim Pope,”

P.S. Maybe St. John Paul II will be Apostollo‘s patron saint? God knows. We are still praying to see it.
